                        A MATTER OF WHERE

                             ABSTRACT

This is a title that our esteemed colleague Alan Goldman would use to mean:
Where should we place a facility?  For me, it's more basic.  I'm totally 
lost.  Somehow I hope to find my way by doing gradient descent on a function 
whose derivative is zero almost everywhere and by traversing an Euler tour 
in a graph.  By the way: Can anyone tell me where I left my GPS?

Stein of Mechanical Engineering.
