Seminars
The Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics of the Whiting School of Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University hosts a weekly colloquium on Thursdays at 4:00 PM on the third floor of Whitehead Hall, Room 304. (Refreshments begin at 3:30 PM in Room 301.)
Some additional seminars are scheduled on Fridays and occasionally on other days. Student seminars are usually scheduled on Tuesdays at 4:00 PM in Whitehead Hall, Room 304.
Roughly half the seminars feature talks by faculty in the department; the other half are given by distinguished visitors.
