Tenure-track position in Combinatorial Optimization

The Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics at Johns Hopkins University invites applications to fill a tenure-track position in combinatorial optimization.  Exceptionally qualified candidates at all ranks will be considered.  A successful candidate must have a doctorate in mathematics, applied mathematics, or a closely related field and will be expected to develop a successful research program in combinatorial optimization. The Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics currently has ten tenure-track or tenured faculty members in the fields of probability, statistics, discrete mathematics, optimization, partial differential equations, and wavelet analysis.

Applications should include a cover letter describing the principal expertise of the applicant, a statement of teaching philosophy, a statement of research interests and experiences, and a curriculum vitae.
