Orientation Program
The Orientation Program (three weeks) will immediately precede the first Fall semester of enrollment and will incorporate the following elements:
- an overview of the program, including its philosophy and the rationale for its various components;
- presentation of materials aimed at preparing students for their internship experiences, including presentation of advice on résumé writing and interviewing techniques;
- review of some of the key mathematical methods needed in the program;
- lectures describing career alternatives and advising students on how to focus their education toward specific career goals.
